After wearing the Huarache line for a few years, the 2005-06 NBA season brought the first Nike signature shoe for Kobe Bryant, the Zoom Kobe I. This was one of the last pairs released in 2006. It was a general release and retailed for $130.

I have this colorway as well as the all black (mamba) colorway. I used these for indoor and outdoor basketball and they were a pretty good basketball shoes. With a lot of use the glue on the outside of the shoe where the rubber pieces come up on the side seems to come off. I had this problem and so did others that I know. These retailed at 130, but were easy to find on sale after their release. This was Kobe's first official signature shoe and is a decent basic shoe.
