Le Coq Sportif Joakim Pro Model 2.0 - "St. Patrick's Day"

words // Brandon Richard

Had Joakim Noah not been injured mid-season, he most likely would have been named as a reserve to the Eastern Conference All-Star Team. However, the bigger picture is that his return to the Chicago Bulls' lineup makes the team a legit threat to emerge from the East and play in the NBA Finals.

On their way to that goal, the Bulls will participate in one of the NBA games scheduled for St. Patrick's Day. In recent weeks, we've seen several photos of Derrick Rose's St. Patty's Day adiZero Rose 1.5; now here's a look at the shoe his teammate Joakim Noah will wear in the same game.

The "St. Patrick's Day" Joakim Noah Pro Model 2.0 features a leather upper covered in a mixture of fading green tones. White hits the laces, as well as branding and personalization on the cross-strap, side panels and heel. The midsole is also done in white and sits atop a green rubber outsole.

Only 75 pairs of the "St. Patrick's Day" Pro Model 2.0 were produced and they will be available at various retailers on March 17th.

hi guys

For all of you that don't "le Coq Sportif", it's a french brand (so is the rooster and the side symbol of france, check on french soccer or rugby), born in the late 70's this is the oldest and most authentic sport brand in France (ok laoste has been created before, but this isn't a performance brand anymore), owned by adidas during the 90's, it is now on its own.
Worn and exposed by Yannick Noah in 83 during his french grand Slam victory (tennis), le coq has built an authentic relationship with Yannick's son: Joakim.
During its glorious time, Le coq was the official supplier of the argentinian soccer team and his glorious Mardonna.
This brand's DNA is full of sport history, and carries the true values of Sport: authentic, performance and ... now to be accurate with the market stylish. (but this is a more personnal feeling)
Do you really think that a 7 footer NBA player, that is gonna be soon the best rebounder in the league would play with crappy shoes ?
The gradient is what it is on these shoes, but the shoes are performing, i play with the pro model 1.0 and they rock t the level of Kobe's and Jordan's ! true
A french dude leavinf in america!

Niceeeeeeeeeeeeee, great CW. And am loving the shoe, except the name though.
price tag better not be over $100 for those, ugly
I don't like how it fades into that bright green in the front...way too much
