I've learned that maturity has more to do with what types of experiences you've had and what you've learned from them, and less to do with how many years you have lived.
I've learned that sometimes when I'm angry I have the right to be angry, but that doesn't give me the right to be cruel.
I've learned that sometimes the people you expect to kick you when you're down, will be the ones to help you get back up.
I've learned that credentials on the wall do not make you a decent human being.
I've learned that it isn't always enough to be forgiven by others. Sometimes you have to learn to forgive yourself.
"people do wrong to each other sometimes. And in that way the force of the earth, comes around the moon. And at that presence, the dirt.. it overshadows the grass, you like "I can't cut this grass, there's no sun a coming through". So in order order to enable each other the two fruits have to look each other in the eye and understand we can only be right, as the ripe is wrong, you know what I mean?
What school grades determine:
Your ability to memorize mostly useless things
Your ability to regurgitate information in the way others want you to
Your ability to understand what adults want from you and give it to them
Your tolerance for working on tasks you donât find useful because others want you to do them or believe them to be helpful/socially acceptable
What grades do NOT determine:
Your intelligence
Your creativity
Your emotional capabilities
Your likeliness to succeed
Whether youâre a good person
