This is quite obviously a performance shoe for CP3 made by Jordan Brand. From a performance standpoint, they look to be pretty good performers on that end if you're a PG/SG. Traction looks to be on point with the herringbone pattern so they probably will have a good grip on the court.
People not feeling these are quite frankly looking at these from a can I rock with jeans/aesthetic point of view, not from a performance point of view.
"And when I'm gone, just carry on, don't mourn
Rejoice every time you hear the sound of my voice
Just know that I'm looking down on you smiling
And I didn't feel a thing, So baby don't feel my pain just smile back"

I hate the Jordan Brand the only thing Jordan I will buy is retros
you must be out of your mind then??
Bullshit, he's out of his mind. Aside from retros (Tinker Hatfield) Jordan Brand is a fucking joke.
You poor, misguided individual... The lowliest Team J's shit on every retro to roll out of JB for the last 15 years. Retros are overpriced and poorly-constructed with cheap, shitty materials. They're shitty lifestyle shoes designed to look like Tinker's designs...
I couldn't agree with you more...people are so enamored by the retro's that they refuse to accept any other shoe. I don't mind what people prefer - after all it's what YOU like. What I do get annoyed with is morons that have to spout off that nothing compares to retro J's and everybody else is a tool for purchasing anything but retros. Here's a news flash some people actually play ball and not sit on the sideline like posers. Those people actually want and need shoes that have the latest technology and material to help them enjoy the game better. This article is about a performance sneaker and not a lifestyle sneaker - get that thru your head. I personally would would rather wear a "fucking joke" with phylon, lunarlon, or cushlon encasing my zoom, max air or podulon rather than Polyurethane to protect my knees and back. Yes, I understand that there are unfortunately no efforts with the new models being made to cater to people who love leather (i definitely fall in this category)and the industry as a whole seems to be switching to harsher (in my opinion) feeling fuse/synthetic type uppers. The thing is that as things develop, they evolve and usually for the better. Give the new technologies a chance to develop and they might just surprise you. I was there for the first push of the "Nike Air Revolution" and believe me there were hardcore runners that did not want this technology and wanted to stay with eva or polyuerethane midsoles - if Nike listened to their close minded views where would the shoe industry be now?
Simply put... "Sneakerhead - Someone serious about sneakers and is knowledgeable on the culture. And buy shoes that they LIKE. Hypebeast - (a) Someone that likes a pair of shoes because they are rare, limited, or just because someone else likes them. (b) Someone that generates hype over a release"
Here we go....the fuckin' dinks on this site are overwhelming. It was just a statement about how ALL of Jordan Brands shoes aside from retro's (Tinkers creations) look like shit (hence the 35% cop rate at the top of the article). And here is some fuckin' dork going into a 6 PARAGRAPH EXPLANATION about how the construction is blah, blah, blah. Tiresome bullshit....and of course the dumb twat defining sneakerhead and hypebeast for the 12,056th time. Wow.
Suntour - it's actually 5 paragraphs but thanks for showing the world your inability to count - it really makes you look smarter for calling out other people ;)
And like I said earlier in the post - I don't mind people who like retro's (I own a couple myself) it's assholes like you who feel the need to call down and belittle others that get me going. The fact that you didn't read into it fully and threw an opinion aside with "blah blah blah" shows that you aren't of an open mind. I admit now that my comment was too long and I apologize for that and will leave it at that.
good design for him, not for me
