A salute to Orlando's history in space exploration, Nike's All-Star "Galaxy" footwear collection has enjoyed a great amount of success over the last month. The "Galaxy" Air Foamposite One will go down as one of the most chaotic and sought after releases of all time, while the "Galaxy" Air Flight One helped reintroduce one of Penny Hardaway's original models to an entirely new generation. Throughout All-Star Weekend, we also gave you a look at several unreleased "Galaxy" shoes, including Andre Iguodala's Hyperenforcer and Blake Griffin's Hyperdunk 2011 Supreme. The good news for collectors is that at least one of those two models is slowly making its way to retail locations.
The Blake Griffin "Galaxy" Hyperdunk 2011 Supreme recently started to surface at select Chinese spots in limited quantities. A replica of Blake's All-Star Game shoe, the Hyperdunk features a blue and mint synthetic upper, accented by orange Swoosh logos and a healthy amount of black throughout. Giving the shoe its galaxy look is a starry print on the laces and midsole. Finishing things off below is a glow in the dark outsole.
As of now, it's believed that the Blake "Galaxy" Hyperdunk 2011 Supreme will also hit U.S. retail locations in the near future. Keep checking Sole Collector for new developments on that front.
